Full Description

SK 5158 7141 Mill Farm, Scarcliffe. ?Possible Rock Shelter. On the west side of the valley. Limestone outcrops with stone rubble in the foreground. At the above NGR, a trench had been dug in 1978 by youths from the nearby houses, some 2m by 1m by 1m. Possibility of there being rock shelters in this area. (1) ?Palaeolithic suggested.
