Full Description

Ring cairn, extreme diameters 27m by 23m, internal measurements 23m by 18.5m. A break in the circle to the south could be as a result of disturbance rather than a formal entrance. This may be the site mentioned by Regge in 1761 as " on Offerton Moor was a large circle of stone whereof some stood on end" Published by Rooke 1783.
