Full Description

A cairn of 16m in diameter. The centre of which has been removed and has led to past interpretations of a ringcairn. On the south side has been built a shooting butt (1) The gap in the barrow rim to the north east is the point of entry for the central robbing, this predates 1877 (7) This may be one of the cairns excavated by by Pennington (7), or in the 18th Century (8) The site lies within an extensive cairnfield (SMR 11106) and is adjacent to a large ringcairn (SMR 11107) Site monitoring has been carried out.
