Full Description

On Eyam/ Eyam Woodlands parish boundary. The stone has 'E' on one side and 'EW' on the other. One of four boundary stones. It is situated against a dry stone wall on the field boundary with the Sir William Hill Rd. (1) One of several parish boundary stones in a small area, probably placed here at the enclosure award of 1812 when this boundary was formalised. The stone is c. 0.5m high and is marked E (Eyam) on one face and EW (Eyam Woodlands) on another. (3)
