Full Description

In a field adjoining Froggatts Factory there is a tabular tomb with H. M. inscribed upon one end. One of the remaining memorials to the victims of the Eyam plague of 1665-6. (1-3) A grade II listed table tomb, dated 1666. It is constructed of gritstone. It is a plain table tomb with a flat slab top inscribed 'HM 1666'. This is repeated on west end of tomb. (4)
