Full Description

A faint circular mark is discernable in this field through differential grass growth. The grass in this area is lusher suggesting the presence of a infilled of an infilled now or depression. The approximate diameter of this feature is 3m. There are similar features to be found in adjacent fields. (1). A filled-in dew pond with revetting on the east side so that it looks like a circular platform. No pond is listed on the 1880 or 1922 OS maps. (2).
