Protected Status/Designation
- None recorded
Full Description
One of a pair of barrows (smr 13) located on Smelting Hill, Abney Moor 180m north-west of a stone circle SMR 9. Dimensions are Diameter 6.1m and Height 0.3m. The given locations for these two barrows, as a result of resurvey, would appear to be erroneous as they are now somewhat distant from one another!. The previous locations of SK 2006 8043 (14) and SK 2005 8044 may in fact be the more acurate.
