Full Description

Kettle House, Hathersage, a late 17th century building. For information. (1) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 28 SW PARISH OF HATHERSAGE 2/29 Kettle House II House. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Coursed rubble gritstone, with quoins, coped gable to north end, intermediate and south end ridge stacks and stone slate roof. Two storeys, with single storey offshut to rear, two bays with shallow chamfer mullioned windows of 2-lights with C20 casements. Doorway to north end with C20 glazed door beneath heavy lintel, and later doorway enclosed by C20 glazed extension to south end. Small fire window to centre of elevation. Listing NGR: SK2395380154.'
