Full Description

Four small circles annotated 'Old Shafts' are shown in a plot of land within a developing residential area on the Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1) By the end of the 19th century, the street frontage had been developed and the shafts are not shown on the 2nd ed. Ordnance Survey map. (2) Shafts not found. The area is now residential. (3)
