Old shaft (twice) shown on the OS map of 1888 at SK 2967 1902 and SK 2971 1906, sites within enclosed fields. (1)
Still depicted as 'Old coal shafts' on the 1902 map . (2) Shafts not depicted on the OS map of 1920 - the area is shown as enclosed fields. (3) Area under residential development in 1976. (4)
