Full Description

(SK 2915 1816) The area is shown as a small enclosed field on the OS map of 1888. (1) By 1902 a brick works had been constructed. (2) The brick works buildings are not depicted on the OS map of 1920, although 'old clay pit' is named and shown immediately east of the former site of the buildings. (3) By 1976 the site was in use as a residential area. (4, 5)
