Full Description

Probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date seen as a random, rectilinear ridge and furrow system, with 'blocks' of an average 90m by 45m. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2690 1781. Probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date with a maximum length of 80m. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2698 1759. (1) Probable earthwork field boundaries of post medieval date seen as interrupted perpendicular linear features each defined by one ditch, one bank, with a maximum length of 200m. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2690 1772. (2) The area has since been planted with trees [2013]. The extent of survival of the earthworks is not known. (3-4)
