Full Description

Probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date with a maximum length of 210m was identified and mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2875 1866. Also identified was probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date with a maximum length of 60m. Centred at SK 2873 1858. (1) Probable earthwork field boundary of post-medieval date seen as a single linear feature defined by one ditch, with a maximum length of 120m. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. Centred at SK 2882 1871. (2) This area has since been developed for housing [2014]. (3)
