Full Description

SK 2475 1964. Leat, embanked on the downhill side, running through woodland south east of Drakelow Mill (see SMR 19216) and perhaps forming part of the water supply to that mill. Assumed post-medieval in date. (1) The leat is shown on Greenwood's map of 1824/5 running up at least as far as the road, although its course up to the mill cannot be established from the map. (2)
