Full Description

Parkland associated with Grangewood House, later Grangewood Hall, is centred at SK 27981430; its extent in the late 19th century is shown on OS maps as parkland stipple, with scattered parkland trees, and with a fishpond and an icehouse being named. Close to the house is a rectangular walled garden with a fountain at its centre; there is also a possible orchard to the west of the walled garden. Some land on the eastern edge of the park may now be arable. An intermittent bank, 1m high and 2-3m wide, can be seen along the southern edge. (1-3)
