Full Description

Two areas of probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date were recorded using good quality aerial photographs. One area, at SK 2792 1303/SK 2826 1287, was seen as an interrupted random, curvilinear ridge and furrow system, with 'blocks' of on average 170m by ??m. The other, at SK 2802 1297, had earthworks with a maximum length of 90m. (1) Recent viewing of the site via Google Streetview suggests that the ridge and furrow has been ploughed out. (2)
