Full Description

Field system of medieval date, consisting of probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date, seen as a random, curvilinear ridge and furrow system, with 'blocks' of on average 150m by ??m. Centred at SK 2628 1279. Additional NGR's: SK 2625 1261 and SK 2633 1294. Mapped using good quality AP's. (Morph No. FR.102.1.1) (1) Probable earthwork ridge and furrow of medieval date, seen as a random, curvilinear ridge and furrow system, with 'blocks' of on average 140m by ??m. Centred at SK 2677 1271. Additional NGR's: SK2660 1268 and SK2694 1269. Mapped using good quality AP's. (Morph No. FR.102.1.2) Ridge and furrow and headland survive well in the fields around White House Farm. (1)
