Full Description

Centred SK 3309 2267. Area of sandstone quarrying in woodland at the head of Foremark reservoir. Date unknown. (1) OS maps of the 1880s and 1901 suggest the quarry was in use in the late 19th century, although its origins are not known. (2, 3)
