Full Description

5 acres of woodland covering an extensive area of humps and hollows. Probably a medieval stone quarry. (1) (Centred SK 3727 2706) The Hills (NAT) (earthworks depicted are suggestive of a quarrying complex). (3-5) The site was masked by trees on air photographs available to the RCHME during the National Forest Project, so no further information was recorded. (6)
