Full Description

Probable cropmark enclosure of unknown prehistoric date seen as an incomplete subcircular enclosure, diameter 40m, defined by 1 ditch. Mapped using good quality AP's. Centred at:- SK 3752 2761. Probable cropmark enclosure of unknown prehistoric date seen as a subcircular enclosure, diameter 8m, defined by 1 ditch. Mapped using good quality AP's. Centred at:- SK 3748 2766. Probable cropmark enclosure of unknown prehistoric date seen as a subcircular enclosure, diameter 4m, defined by 1 ditch. Mapped using good quality AP's. Centred at:- SK 3750 2758. (1) Cropmarks plotted on map overlay, 1:10,000. (2) Reviewed (2026), crop marks still visible, LiDAR shows evidence of linears, but large amounts of paleaochannels are visible in the area.
