Full Description

Stone head in the collection of Mrs. Carroll of Eastwood Cottage, Camp Green, Hathersage. It is of gritstone, the dimensions are currently unavailable but it is 40cm high (approx). Stylistically similar to other heads in this material from the Glossop area, it is therefore considered to be Romano-British in date. (1, 2)
