Protected Status/Designation
Full Description
Two round cairns on gently shelving moorland. the larger is flat topped and is c.8m in diameter and about 0.6m high. The second cairn is 12m to the east, and measures 5m x 6m. the cairns stand in ground cleared of surface stone - perhaps suggesting that they were originally intended as field clearance cairns. However, it is thought that their size would suggest a funerary function. (1)
