Full Description

A sub-circular gritstone cairn measuring 5m x 3.5m x .5m high. Scheduled (1) This mound has no visible stone and measures 5m across and is 0.3m high. Its location high on Harland Edge, in association with further small cairns and barrows, suggests it could be a Bronze Age funerary structure. (2) Site monitoring has been carried out and site appears not to be under threat. (3)
