Full Description

(Centred SK 159 368). An aerial photograph shows dark curvilinear cropmarks, forming no coherent pattern, extending over circa 4 hectares. (1) The above siting falls on the west end of a broad east-facing spur with a prominent outlook. The area is under pasture and no significant features or finds were noted on perambulation. Although the cropmarks cannot be positively identified as being of archaeological origin, the farmer here could offer no explanation of their cause.
