Milestone, Stoney Middleton Road, Calver, of early 19th century date.
'Milestone on Stoney Middleton Road, previously the 1759 Chesterfield-Hurnstone Head Turnpike Road. The stone is in good condition, triangular in cross section and 1.10m high. The inscription on one side reads 'To Tideswell 6, Chapel 13, Manchester 32' and on the other 'To Chesterfield 10 miles'.' (1-3)
