Full Description

Cairn situated within an area of enclosed moorland. Cairn consists of a low, grass-covered mound standing within the saddle between the two crags of Crook Hill. Measures 6.5m x 6m and stands 0.5m high. There are minor disturbances to the centre and south side of the monument. The majority remains apparently intact. It is thought to be funerary and Bronze Age in date. (1) Site monitoring has been carried out and site appears not to be under threat. (2)
