Full Description

The cairnfield occupies sloping moorland and comprises seven small cairns in close proximity forming a tight cluster. They range from 1m to 2.5m in diameter. Thought to be primarily associated with field clearance, some may have also served a funerary function. (1) Site monitoring has been carried out and site appears not to be under threat. (2)
