Full Description

Bronze Age flint knife found c. 1936 beneath an old house in the village of Doveridge during demolition operations. Reported by Mrs Twigg of the School House, Doveridge. To be presented to Derby Museum. (1) Miss Twigg, daughter of the finder, pointed out the approximate site of the find at SK 1190 3390. (2)
