Full Description

Flanged bronze palstave with incipient stop-ridge, found by G. Gregory in 1933, somewhere near the upper end of the via Gellia. Whereabouts unknown in 1933, but the object was similar to fig. 3d in the British Museum catalogue of the Bronze Age. (1,2). It may date from 1500 BC. (2).
