Gate piers and retaining wall, Brizlincote Hall, Brizlincote Lane, Bretby, of early 18th century date. 'The gate piers and retaining wall to the north-west of Brizlincote Hall Farm represent the remains of the original formal approach to the hall, and are Grade II listed. They are early 18th century, of rubble sandstone and ashlar, although much damaged.' Early C18. Rubble sandstone and ashlar. Pair of gate piers, each with moulded base, pilaster strips on two faces, the inner face with scroll terminations. Moulded cornice and concave pyramidal tops. Linked by low rubblestone retaining walls to two similar end piers. Much damaged. Listing NGR: SK2722122161.' (2)
