OS 1st edition (1883) shows 'Tapton Lock Brick Yard' with two small buildings / structures. By 1898 there is no mention of the brick yard, and the two structures have been replaced by three other structures. There are traces of an earthwork indicated, but this does not appear to be a clay pit. (1, 2)
