Full Description

Block of ridge and furrow. (1) Part of a coherent block of the medieval field system of Doveridge, which survives in the fields north of the village, centred at SK 121 344. (2) Medieval ridge and furrow identified from a walkover survey at Bell Lane, the Manor House and Field Farm. (3) Medieval ridge and furrow earthworks were identified in this area from aerial photographs taken in 1948. (4)
