Full Description

Late 19th century tile works, not depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of 1887, at which time the area is shown as an enclosed field; however, by 1900 'Tile Works' is named on OS map of 1900. (2) The 3rd edition OS map of the early 20th century shows buildings much changed and expanded compared to 1900, with a railway link, and now named "Engineering Works". (3)
