Full Description

(SK 2180 2978) 'Brick Works' named on the Ordnance Survey map of 1887, with two circular kilns named and depicted. (1) The Brick Works are no longer named on the OS map of 1901 and the kilns are not depicted; the site is occupied by a terrace of houses named Brickyard Cottages. (2)
