Full Description

A probable earthwork extractive pit of post-medieval date can be seen as one very large (>50m) amorphous feature on good quality aerial photographs, centred at SK 3097 1963. A probable earthwork trackway of post-medieval date can be seen as a single linear feature defined by a bank, with a maximum length of 100m, centred at SK 3102 1966. Mapped using good quality aerial photographs. (1) The area is now pasture [1994]. The trackway survives as a low bank cutting across ridge and furrow. (2)
