Full Description

An earthwork field system of post-medieval date was identified using good quality aerial photographs. It was seen as interrupted perpendicular linear features each defined by one ditch, with a maximum length of 410m. Centred at SK 3167 1990, with additonal grid references being SK 3165 1953, SK 3128 1996, and SK 3162 2009. Associated with the field system are two footpaths of post-medieval date seen as earthwork parallel linear features each defined by a ditch, with a maximum length of 160m. (1)
