Full Description

Two areas of ridge and furrow south of Trent Lane were identified from aerial photographs, with the Trent and Mersey Canal separating the two areas. The earthworks have been plotted on a map overlay at a scale of 1:10,000. (1) Medieval ridge and furrow earthworks identified from aerial photographs taken in 1963. (2)
