Full Description
The 1659 Sudbury Hall Estate Map shows a number of cottages set in narrow plots to the north west of the Inn on the area now occupied by the cricket field. The building of the present Hall in the later C17 meant that those cottages which interrupted the view from the house were demolished. Nothing shows on the ground or on aerial photographs. (1)
