Full Description

Eagle Tor Mill, demolished in the 1950's. (1-2) The mill at Eagle Tor is labelled as a flour mill on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1800. There is a mill pond to the east [see also SMR 1614]. (3) It's marked as a corn mill on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900 and the mill pond is labelled. (4) The mill appears to have fallen out of use by the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century and the mill pond is partially silted up. (5)
