Post medieval lead mining remains in the fields immediately north of Harthill Hall. Some were to be removed in 1995. There are several degraded shafts and a filled in rake running from the north-west corner of the field to the south-east. The large shafts mound to be retained. Field immediately behind the hall was removed to create a car-park. (1).
