Full Description

Toll house sited at the junction of the Derby road and Old Derby Road. (1) Examination of the 1st and 2nd ed. 25" OS maps suggests that an earlier toll house lay c. 30m to the north-west, being depicted as 'Old Toll House'. The site now lies below the road. (2, 3) Red brick with slate roof. (4)
