Full Description

Large lead mining hillocks within the village of Winster. (1). Photographic record. (2,3). The underground mine located here in Winster is known as Upper Orchard Mine. The extant of the area of interest is one hectare. The site includes a deep engine shaft at a disturbed hillock that leads to extensive pipe and vein workings. (4).
