Full Description

A nine foot high circular stone water container, which holds approximately 1500 gallons of water, situated in 'Fountain Square'. The fountain is dated to 1829. The pipes drain into the remains of an old trough, but are now cut off. The tap drains into a new trough (SMR 15779). (1,2). Photographic record. (3).
