Milestone, B5056, Stanton, of late 18th century date.
'Gritstone milepost, on the 1811 Ashbourne to Haddon turnpike, now the B5056. South side says 'To Bakewell 4 Miles', north side says 'To Ashbourn 13 miles.' (1-2)

Milestone. Late C18. Painted stone. Stone slab, approximately 2 ft high with splayed sides and saddleback top, inscribed to north 'TO/ASHBOURNE/13 MILES' and to south 'TO/BAKEWELL/4/MILES'.
