Full Description

Carving on the vertical flat face of a rock alongside a carriage drive. The carving show a coronet, (proud), above the letter Y, with the date 1826 below. (1) The carving marks the boundary between land then owned by the Duke of Rutland and Mr Thornhill of Stanton Hall. (2)
