Full Description
A small hollow-way is visible on an aerial photograph. (1,2). An archaeological field survey identified the feature as part of a series of lynchets, of post-medieval and possibly earlier date, defining a field layout that has subsequently been partially removed. The field boundaries marked by these lynchets are not shown on any available maps, suggesting they had been removed by the first available map in 1841. (3).
