Full Description
That part of the ancient trackway which passes through the parish of Ivonbrook Grange, the Green Lane (Stanstead Lane) is possibly the oldest route. The track throughout its length is part Green Lane, minor road or footpath and part out of use, but visible on the ground. The track is thought to originate in prehistoric times and was certainly in use during the Saxon / Medieval period. (1)
