Full Description

Milestone 800 metres south-west of Conksbury Farmhouse. Grade II listed, dating from the late 18th century. It consists of a stone slab with slightly splayed sides and a saddleback top, inscribed to the east 'To Ashbourne 13 Miles and to the west, in two columns 'To / Miles / Bakewell 2 / ?'; other names are too worn to be legible.
