Full Description

Post medieval cast iron milepost on the east side of the Buxton to Leek Road. The milepost is painted white with black lettering. It is in fair condition and reads 'Leek 10 miles' and 'Buxton 2 miles'. It lies on the 1765 Buxton-Leek turnpike. (1).
