Full Description

Limestone quarry. (1) Photographic record. (2) The quarry is possibly still in use. (3) Neolithic or early Bronze Age flints have been found close to where stripping had cleared topsoil towards the rear of the quarry. One small scraper, one flake and a sherd of Romano-British Derbyshire ware were collected during fieldwalking. (5)
